Autodesk Revit® software delivers a rich feature set of tools to architects, engineers, and contractors that allow users to easily coordinate even the most complex of construction projects, produce high-quality construction and engineering documentation and quickly assess and deliver construction and engineering project changes under budget and ahead of schedule.
As a part of Autodesk’s BIM solution and CAD software portfolio Revit Software is available in a variety of versions including Autodesk Revit® Architecture,  Revit® MEP and also Revit® Structure as well as in a number of the Autodesk® software suites.

Objectives

  • The primary objective of this courseware is to teach students the concepts of Building Information
  • Modelling and introduce the tools for parametric building design and documentation using Revit
  • Architecture. After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Use the fundamental features of Revit Architecture
  • Use the parametric 3D design tools to design projects
  • Create detailing and drafting views
  • Create construction documentation

Who should attend?

This course is mainly intended for Structural Engineers , Architects, MEP Engineers,  Interior Designers or Draftsmen who are new to the concept of BIM (Building Information Modeling) in general. Other people who have some basic modeling understanding may also attend if they wish to firmly grasp the essential concepts of Revit

Eligibility Criteria

Attendees should have some knowledge of Computer Assisted Design and Drafting (CADD) Concepts.
