successful completion of the course, delegates should be able to:
identify the hazards and evaluate the risks in their workplace
• use appropriate workplace precautions for
specific risks or seek advice on workplace precautions
managers in preparing written risk assessments
following their organisation’s health and safety policy
co-operate and communicate on safety matters
out work activities without undue risk to themselves or others
relevant accidents and incidents
their own activities and assist managers in active monitoring.
Assessment depends on how you choose to study.
If you sit the course at one of our training centres or in your own workplace,
there is an end-of-course assessment of 30 multi-format questions. There’s also
a project to be completed within two weeks of the end of the course.
