IOSH Working Safely

IOSH Working Safely is a specially formulated course for workers who don’t have basic understanding on the importance of creating safe and healthy work environment. Designed and developed by the health and safety experts from IOSH, a UK-based educational board, the course also helps working professionals improve awareness and skills involved in assessing, managing and controlling risks and dangers at workplaces.


Learning objectives
On successful completion of the course, delegates should be able to:
• identify the hazards and evaluate the risks in their workplace
 • use appropriate workplace precautions for specific risks or seek advice on workplace precautions
• assist managers in preparing written risk assessments
• following their organisation’s health and safety policy
• co-operate and communicate on safety matters
• carry out work activities without undue risk to themselves or others
• report relevant accidents and incidents
• monitor their own activities and assist managers in active monitoring.

Exam Details

Assessment depends on how you choose to study.
If you sit the course at one of our training centres or in your own workplace, there is an end-of-course assessment of 30 multi-format questions. There’s also a project to be completed within two weeks of the end of the course.
